Dowling Soccer Club

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I create or access my account?

A. Click on the Member Login link in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

Q. My child does not attend a parochial school. Can he/she still play for Dowling Soccer Club?

A. Participation in the Dowling Soccer Club is open to ALL kids attending parochial or public schools. Present or future attendance at Dowling Catholic High School is not a requirement to play for the Dowling Soccer Club.

Q. I realize that your registration is now closed. Is there any possible way that my child could be placed on a Rec or Select team for this fall?

A. If you would like to register your player after registration is closed, please contact dowlingslectsoccer@gmail for Select options or for Recreational options.

Q: My child is young for her/his grade and I'm not able to register them to the team I want them to be on.

A: Please register them in the appropriate group for their age. After registrations are complete and teams are formed, we can move your child to a team that is more age appropriate. Please note age groups run calendar year, not academic year.

Q: I would like my child to be on the same team as her/his friend. How can I make sure that he/she will be on the same team?

A: The registration process does not allow you to specify to be paired with another player or coach. Please email us the player's name and who you would like to paired with. Typically we can accommodate such requests.

Q: You used to be able to mail in a paper form to register. Is there an option for paper registration?

A: We use online only registration. This is allows us to keep everything streamlined as possible.

Q: My child needs service hours for school. Are there any ways for a student/player to earn hours?

A: Yes, there are several opportunities for your child to earn service hours throughout the year. We will notify parents and students of these opportunities.

We will refund a payment if a player is not able to be placed on a team for the season. We will make every effort to place a player on a team. This includes placing female players on a male team if needed to form a coed team. (A coed team is a basically a male team as they are allowed to have female players.)

We will refund a payment if the parent(s) of the player relocates outside of the central Iowa area and player will not be able to play with DSC and will not play in the ISA or ISL region for another club or if a player sustains a season ending injury prior to the first game. (Please note that player and team registrations are completed well in advance of the first game of each season.) All refund requests must be made in writing by emailing us. The DSC board will review all requests on a case by case basis.

We are constantly improving and updating the website. Please email us at if you have any questions and comments.
