Mini Maroons is an instructional program that introduces boys and girls born between 2017 and 2020 to the basic skills of soccer. Our program is held Saturday mornings at Dowling Catholic High School. There will be a total of 6 sessions held 12Apr through 17May. Each week, players participate in 30 minutes of age-appropriate instructions followed by 30 minutes of small-sided scrimmaging.

Fun is the primary focus!

FOCUS
Our instructors use fundamental soccer activities, games and stories to develop their skills in the following areas:
• Balance, Agility and Coordination
• Technical Skills
• Gross Motor Skills
• Physical Development
• Social Skills
• Self Confidence
• Communication
• Teamwork

FORMAT
- The participants meet once a week for six weeks
- Each week, players enjoy 30 minutes of age appropriate instruction followed by 30 minutes of small-sided scrimmaging
- Each player should bring shin guards, a size 3-4 soccer ball, and a water bottle; no soccer uniform is required but cleats are recommended

COST
- $75 per child

- Each child will receive a Dowling Soccer Club T-shirt
